Cooper Teare, a Nike professional athlete, won the men's 10-kilometer title in 29:06.2 at the USATF Cross Country Championships at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va. Teare is eligible to represent the U.S. on March 30 at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships, but instead, might focus on his pursuit of competing at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, by qualifying Feb. 16-17 at the USATF Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.
