USATF Cross Country Championships Coming to BendRelease from VisitBend (Bend, Ore.) – The 2017 USATF National Cross Country Championships will be held on February 4, 2017 at River’s Edge Golf Course in Bend, Oregon. Competitions will include national championships for Open, Masters, and Junior runners with distances ranging from 6K – 10K.
Runners from all over the U.S., including Olympic athletes, are expected to compete for cash prizes and an opportunity to qualify for the 2017 IAAF World Championships to be held in London, as well as the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. Events will be televised live on USATF.tv from 12-4pm.
A 4K community race will also be held, as well as a 4 x 1K Brewer’s Cup Relay sponsored by Deschutes Brewery. Costs for the events are $10 and $20, respectively.
